Ecofiscal would like to congratulate Paul Lanoie on his appointment to the position of Sustainable Development Commissioner for the province of Quebec. As of September 6, 2016, Paul will be monitoring the implementation of Quebec’s Sustainable Development Act.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Paul for all his hard work at the Commission. As an Ecofiscal Commissioner, he has gone above and beyond the call of duty. His insights as an economist and policy expert have greatly contributed to our research and reports. He has represented Ecofiscal publicly, particularly in Québec, through many media appearances and events. And he has been an exemplary colleague who has supported the Commission with wisdom and good humour.

We are confident that Paul will once again demonstrate exceptional leadership in his new role. Ecofiscal is forever appreciative to Paul for his hard work and friendship.
